September 2002 T&P Research referenced in the Naše Rodina magazine of the CGSI

Following the meeting with the Czechoslovak Genealogical Society International (CGSI) from July 2002 in St. Paul, MN, USA, the president of the Society Gene Aksamit mentioned the July meeting (see below) with Pavel Tyrpak in his "President's Message". Naše Rodina (Our Family) Newsletter of CGSI, Volume 14, Number 3, page 87.

August 2002 Meeting with clients in Arizona, USA

At the end of August 2002, a representative of T&P Research, Pavel Tyrpak, met with T&P Research long-time clients. The first of the very pleasant meetings was with Mr. Gerold Pokorny from Tempe, Phoenix, AZ, USA and the other one with Mrs. Carol Liesenbein from Tucson, AZ, USA. It was nice to meet with people we were doing business with for years overseas but never met in person before

July 2002 Meetings with the GBHS and the CGSI members

On July 15, 2002, a representative of T&P Research, Pavel Tyrpak, met with Dr. Robert Paulson and Linda Therkelsen, active members of the German-Bohemian Heritage Society (GBHS) of New Ulm, MN, USA. This first meeting took place in Minneapolis, MN,USA. The following day, on July 16, 2002, the same meeting was organized with members of the Czechoslovak Genealogical Society International (CGSI) in St. Paul, MN, USA. Both meetings were very successful and helped to all participants to discuss current issues regarding professional genealogy in the Czech Republic and relations between T&P Research and the societies

May 2002 Presentation to CSAGSI members

As it became a "standard" summer activity for last 3 years, a presentation for members of the Czech & Slovak Genealogical Society of Illinois (CSAGSI) was given in the State Central Archives in Prague on May 17, 2002. During the presentation undamentals of professional genealogy in the Czech Republic as well as basic aspects of services provided by T&P Research were explained. The tour was organized by Joseph Hartzel, a member of the CSAGSI and T&P Research thanks him for the invitation.

April 2002 A book bonation to the CGSI

T&P Research donated the book Královské horní město Horní Slavkov (The Royal Mining Town Horni Slavkov) to the library of the Czechoslovak Genealogical Society International (CGSI) in St. Paul, Minessotta, USA. A thankful letter from Wayne Sisel, Chair, Library Committee of the CGSI was sent to T&P Research on July 20, 2002

March 2002 Results of T&P Research work published!

In this year, a book of the author Julie L'Enfant, The Gag Family - German-Bohemian Artist in America was released. was released. Historical facts about the family referenced in the book were collected by Dr. Robert Paulson, a member of the German-Bohemian Heritage Society (GBHS). Roots of the family back in South West Bohemia were researched by T&P Research under an order of Dr. Robert Paulson and T&P Research is specifically referenced in the book as a source of historical data. The book is published by Aftonpress.

March 2002 T&P Research to AFoCR

T&P Research became a member of the American Friends of the Czech Republic (AFoCR). Consequently T&P Research contributed funds to the Tomas Garrigue Masaryk Memorial Statue in Washington, D.C.

February 2002 Free GBHS membership

A committee of the German-Bohemian Heritage Society (GBHS) of New Ulm, Minessotta, USA decided to give a free annual membership to T&P Research. This free membership is a reflection of good services that T&P Research provides to members of the GBHS. Thank you GBHS!

December 2000 Town Horní Slavkov book donation

In December 2000 T&P Research became one of 38 donors of the book Královské horní město Horní Slavkov (The Royal Mining Town Horni Slavkov). It is the T&P Research contribution to its "home town" Horní Slavkov. The author of the book, Ing. Pavel Beran is a director of the State County Museum of Sokolov and T&P Research maintains its relation with this organization
